The International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences, Inc. (CAETS) is an organization of national engineering and technological sciences academies. Its primary mission is to advise governments and international organizations on technical and policy issues, to improve the understanding of engineering and technology by the public, to offer a forum for discussion and communication, to support cooperation, and to improve education and practice of its field of interest.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences.
