The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, established in 1992, is a private association under the Chinese law and belongs to the Federation of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad (Union des Chambres de Commerce et d’Industrie Françaises à l’Etranger - UCCIFE). It gathers 1400 members in 2011 and 45 companies at the Board of Sponsors. The CCIFC is represented by a board of 30 people elected for 2 years from French companies in China. 6 permanent commissions have been settled: Communications, Foreign Relations, Finance, Legal Affairs, Human Resources and Strategy. A bi-cultural team of 40 people ensures the promotion of the French companies in China. They are spread between Beijing, national headquarters and the satellite offices. == Goals == * Support French company to settle in China * Provide infrastructure and network to its members * Boost companies' business * Promote members' interest by lobbying In order to get more efficience, the CCIFC has created 2 departments entirely dedicated to help French and Chinese companies. Thanks to the French Desk, French companies are assisted in their approach of the Chinese market.
