CCL25 is believed to play a role in the development of T-cells.〔Vacari et al., TECK: a novel CC chemokine specifically expressed by thymic dendritic cells and potentially involved in T cell development. Immunity, 1997, 7:291-301.〕 It is chemotactic for thymocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells.
