CIUX-FM CIUX-FM is a new English language FM radio station which will broadcast a classic hits format on the frequency of 105.5 MHz/FM in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada. ==History== On April 3, 2012, Frank Torres, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated, received approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to operate CIUX-FM. 〔(Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2012-201 ), English-language FM radio station in Uxbridge, ''CRTC'', April 3, 2012〕 The applicant indicated that its proposed new station would be a first radio service for the community of Uxbridge. The branding of this new station will be ''105.5 HITS FM''. Officially launched on September 21st 2015. A song by Julien Kelland a local artist was the first song to be played on the station.
