Cavareno ((ドイツ語:Gafrein) or ''Kabarren'', Ladin: ''Ciavarén'') is a ''comune'' (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 940 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 Cavareno borders the following municipalities: Amblar, Romeno, Ruffrè, Sarnonico, and Kaltern.
