Cellio is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about northeast of Turin and about north of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 898 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Cellio contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Agua, Carega, Allera, Merlera, Valmonfredo, Viganallo, Cosco, Arva, Crabia, Forcola, Maddalena, Mollie, Casaccia, Tairano, Mascherana, Casa Resegotti, Cerchiera, Agarla, Bosco, Zagro, Baltegora, Sella, Culagna, Camo, and Fronto.
