Cerignale is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about west of Bologna and about southwest of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 197 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Cerignale contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cà d'Abrà, Cariseto, Carisasca, Casale, Castello, La Serra, Lisore, Loc. Madonna, Oneto, Ponte Organasco, Rovereto, Santa Maria, Selva, and Zermogliana.
