Chadiwal
Chadiwal is a village in the Sirsa district of the Indian state of Haryana. It is situated on a link road to the Sirsa-Bhadra road, from the city of Sirsa. In the past, a reputation for criminal activity prevented people from being active after dusk. As the population increased, these fears diminished, and activity after sunset has flourished. A Mandir has also been constructed here. Chadiwal's neighbouring villages are Sahuwala and Ali Mohammad (now Keshav Puram). All the neighbouring villages are inter-connected by good roads. Gerrymandering before assembly elections in 2009 propelled the village into the Sirsa Constituency. It hitherto had been in Darban Kalan. == Jat gotras == The majority of the population is Beniwal, a Jat clan. There are a few households inhabited by members of the Godara, Saharan, and Birda clans. Inhabitants speak Rajasthani. They are said to have come from two villages, namely Jatan and Bhojasar, located in the Bhadra District of Rajasthan. The main industry is agriculture, which depends on rudimentary irrigation.
