Chasseneuil-du-Poitou is a commune in the Vienne department in the Poitou-Charentes region in western France. It lies 7 km north of the centre of Poitiers. Its inhabitants are called the ''Chasseneuillais''. Because of the presence of the park and technopole, a new TGV station, "Gare du Futuroscope", was built in 2000.
