ChinaCache
ChinaCache is a global provider of content delivery network and cloud computing. The company is headquartered in Beijing, China, and the North American branch is based in Los Angeles, CA. Additional international branches are located in San Jose, CA, and Hong Kong. The company began operating in 1998, and became the largest market share holder in terms of revenue within 11 years of being established. The company is the first non-telecommunications carrier to obtain, from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, a nationwide operating permit to provide content and application delivery services.
==History==
The company was founded by Song Wang and Jean Ziaohong Kou in 1998. Wang studied French at the China Foreign Affairs University and attended EMBA training courses on top manager management at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Ms. Kou studied computer applications at Beijing Jiaotong University and attended training courses on human resources and financial management also at the Guanghua School of Management. Wang currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer at ChinaCache and Kou as the Director and Senior Vice President.
