Chuqichampi (Aymara ''chuqi'' gold, ''champi'' mushroom, Quechua ''chuqi'' precious metal, ''champi'' bronze, ''chuqichampi'' the name of a flower,〔Egidia Corrales Lozano, El ritual de la cosecha de papa en la comunidad de Conde, Canas, Lima 2006, p. 17〕 also spelled ''Choquechambi'') is a mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range in Peru, about high. It is situated in the Puno Region, Putina Province, on the border of the Ananea District and the Sina District. Chuqichampi lies northwest of Rit'i Urmasqa and southeast of Rit'ipata, Chapi and Yana Uma.〔 Chuqichampi is also the name of a river.
