Cislago is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northwest of Milan and about southeast of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,118 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Cislago contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Massina, Santa Maria, and Cascina Visconta.
