Corniglio is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about west of Bologna and about southwest of Parma. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,200 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 Corniglio borders the following municipalities: Bagnone, Berceto, Calestano, Filattiera, Langhirano, Monchio delle Corti, Palanzano, Pontremoli, Tizzano Val Parma. It is home to a castle, known since 1240.
