It specifically targets DNA and associated histone proteins accessible in dead and dying cells found at the core of solid tumours, where the radioactive iodine-131 can kill neighbouring tumour cells. ==Trial or other data== Median overall survival of 9.3 months was demonstrated in a Phase II trial (NCT00677716) of the monoclonal antibody TNT-1 in 41 patients with Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) in first relapse. The trial investigated a single infusion of the agent by convection-enhanced delivery (an intratumoural delivery technique that bypasses the blood brain barrier).
