Counterinduction : ウィキペディア英語版
Counterinduction
Counterinduction is the rule of inference that one should assume the opposite of what induction suggests. For example:
:"The Sun has risen every day in the past, therefore I think that it will not rise tomorrow."
In most references to counterinduction, it is not suggested that counterinduction is valid. It is instead a refutation of Max Black's proposed inductive justification of induction, since the counterinductive justification of counterinduction is formally identical to the inductive justification of induction.〔(In a nutshell, Hume’s comes up with three basic questions: )〕
Paul Feyerabend's anarchist theory popularized the notion of counterinduction.
