Cramer is a surname. A British surname, with variant spellings such as Cranmere, Cranmer, Crammer.〔http://www.surnamedb.com/Surname/Cranmer〕〔http://www.surnamedb.com/Surname/cramer〕 It can also be an Anglicized version of the German surname Krämer (pronounced (:ˈkʁɛːmɐ)) which is an old term for the profession of traveling merchants in the Late Middle Ages.
