CreativeLive
CreativeLive is an online learning platform that broadcasts live classes to an international audience. The company has dual headquarters in Seattle and San Francisco, with four in-house production studios. Tim Ferriss, Pulitzer-prize winning photographers Deanne Fitzmaurice and Vincent Laforet, and entrepreneur Chris Guillebeau have all taught classes on the CreativeLive platform. CreativeLive’s board members include Flickr founder Caterina Fake and Greylock Ventures partner James Slavet.

The company was created by photographer, director and artist Chase Jarvis and entrepreneur Craig Swanson in Seattle in 2010.

In November 2013, CreativeLive raised $21.5 million in Series B financing, led by Chamath Palihapitiya's venture capital fund The Social+Capital Partnership. The round also included Greylock Partners and others. The company plans to use the additional funding to expand into new categories and growing its team. At this time, the company reported having over 2 million users participating from over 200 countries.
