Crodo is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about northeast of Turin and about northwest of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,487 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Crodo contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Alpiano, Rencio, Molinetto, Salecchio (o Bagni), Cravegna, Vegno, Emo, Mozzio, Viceno, Foppiano, Quategno, Braccio, and Maglioggio.
