The Virtual Library East and South-East Asia - CrossAsia - is an internet portal offering access to printed and electronic resources concerning East Asian and South-East Asian studies to individuals affiliated to a German institution which is part of the "Blauer Leihverkehr".〔http://crossasia.org/en/databases/registrierung.html〕 CrossAsia has been created and is being supported and supervised by the East Asia Department of the Berlin State Library being the responsible library within the special subject fields programme 6,25 of the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).
