Carey and Mark Myers founded CyraCom International in 1995 under the name Kevmark after they patented the first dual-handset phone. In 1998, Kevmark changed its name to CyraCom International. By 2003, Over-the-Phone Interpretation services for healthcare became the company's focus. In 2004, CyraCom was listed on the InfoWorld 100 for innovative technology developments in multiple language voice recognition.
