CyrusOne is an American public corporation that owns, operates, and develops enterprise-class, carrier-neutral data centers. CyrusOne is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas and operates 31 data centers across the United States, in the United Kingdom, and in Singapore. Their first data center was based in Houston in 2001. CyrusOne is a relatively new player in the Phoenix area, but has been successful in a making a splash with its master plan for a 1,000,000 square foot campus sitting on a large piece of land in Chandler, in the Southeast part of Greater Phoenix. This campus originally broke ground in June 2012 is already quite large as they have been successful in leasing the first phase and now on to the second with its now trademarked Massively Modular® Data Center Technology. CyrusOne serves customers in a range of industries, including energy, oil and gas, medical, technology, finance and consumer goods and services. The company's customers include 160 of the Fortune 1000 companies and nine of the Fortune 20. In May 2013, CyrusOne launched a national internet exchange, CyrusOne National IX, delivering interconnection between twelve of CyrusOne's data center facilities.
