==History==
In 1997, 102.3 Campus Radio in General Santos made its first broadcast all throughout SOCSKSARGEN with the power of 15,000 watts on the FM Band. The first batch of DJ's made an implication to the listeners which has become popular to their slogan "Always and Forever". In 2001, the slogan was changed into "Kuyawa Ui!" (shocking), because of the series of bombings in Gensan last 2003 and the negative effects of the slogan to the station. The team decided to modified it into "Wow! Nindutah Ah!", which is also used in 103.5 Campus Radio Davao until today. Its slogan was "The Best!" from 2010 - 2012, and "Ayos!": a Filipino expression which is basically a positive response. The slogan made its way to popularity and familiarity because of its common use among Filipinos - from 2012 - 2014.
Recently in 2014, 102.3 Campus Radio in General Santos changed its branding to Barangay 102.3 General Santos together with the new programming of the station. A hostage taking involving one of the disk jockeys, Angel and some personnel by an man (DJ Angel's cousin) who believe he is under the influence of drugs was taking place inside the FM station's studios last December 20, 2014. 6 was hurt including the hostage taker.
