Darlaghat is a panchayat town in Solan district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated at an altitude of on National Highway 88. The place is famous for wild fruit named ''daru'', from which it derives its name. It is also known for the highest quality of limestone in India. == Climate == In winter, the temperature can drop near to freezing point. In summer light woolen are recommended. Winter is November to March or early April Summer is April to June / July Precipitation can occur any time of the month bu highly likely in months of May to January.
