Dashora

The DASHORA (Devanagari: दशोरा) are a Hindu community of India that is believed to have existed since the 12th century. They originate from Mandsure in central India, which was also known as Dashpur.

They came from Junagarh Gujarat in the 18th century are Nagar Bramihans. After Muslim attack, some shifted from Junagarh Gujarat to Rajasthan, rest from Junagarh Gujarat to Madhya pradesh. Mostly have been settled at Indore and nearby areas,Ujjain,Bhopal in MP and Chhitorgarh,Udaypur,Jaipur in rajasthan. Dashora Nagar Brahman Samaj worship Shri Hatkeshwar Vijayate Namah. Main temple is in Vadnagar Gujarat and origin of this samaj is from Junagarh
