Defiler was an American deathcore band from Castro Valley, California. == History == The band was formed in January 2010, by vocalist Jake Pelzl and guitarist Nathan Miller. Currently Defiler has released two albums: Pangaea (2010) and Nematocera (2012), and now is recording the new one. Pangaea and mini-album Plasmodium (2010—2011) The debut album of the band - ''Pangaea'' - was published in 2010. The album was reissued in 2011 with a new cover and the bonus track "Wild Wasteland". Later that year, the mini-album ''Plasmodium'' was issued. Nematocera and the announcement of a new album (2012—2013) In 2012, the band released a new album — ''Nematocera'' — and started preparing to record a new disc. The band has uploaded a demo clip on its official YouTube channel on YouTube that includes fragments of three new songs. The new album is scheduled for a 2014 release. The names of the songs are not published. A little later Defiler has uploaded a demo clip featuring a fragment of the song ''Psalm of the Raven'', which will be included to the new album. Since january 2015 all of "defiler" social media sites have been deleted, Information about a break up was never posted. As of august 25th, 2015 there has been no further information about "defiler".
