As of 2015, the drug is being developed by OncoMed Pharmaceuticals in non-small-cell lung cancer as well as pancreatic cancer, in collaboration with Celgene. == Mechanism of action == Demcizumab blocks Delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4), a ligand of Notch receptors. Notch signaling has been implicated as a key signaling pathway in cancer stem cells.
