Deosaran
Deosaran (surname) is a variant of a surname of East Indian origin. The use of this variation of the name is most commonly found in Trinidad and Tobago by Indian immigrants whose lack of English spelling may have caused the name to change in spelling. In India the name is traditionally spelled Devsharan, where Dev can be translated to God, and Sharan is translated as shelter, or sanctuary. The name is found in Eastern India, commonly in the Bhojpur region of Bihar. Notable names such as Deosaran Bisnath, or Veejay Deosaran shows how the name can be used either as a first name, or a surname.
