Dhanushadham : ウィキペディア英語版 | Dhanushadham Dhanushadham is a municipality district and religious place of Hindu worship in Nepal, where a part of Shiva Bhana (Bow) that was broken by Rama during Sita's swayamvara is housed. The bow is considered to be an alive object due to the brahmic energy endowed in it by Shiva. The place is 18 km from Janakpur in Nepal and can be reached by a dirt track on a bus that takes 45 minutes from Janakpur. The bus frequency is one in 2 hrs from 8 am to 5 pm. The Pandit at Dhanushadham educates devotees with the lively story of Sita Swayamvara which can be seen in Para 3 of Dhanushkodi page.
