Dhundh
Dhundh (ढुन्ढ) is a ritual (Hindu ceremony) in Rajasthan to be performed on all the children who are less than one year on Holi means taken birth within one year before the Holi. ==History== This ritual have a link in the Bhavishya Purana. In which according to one incident that there was a rakshashi (giant) named Dhundha during the reign of king Raghu. According to the Guru Vashishtha's advice, to keep her away, people kindled fires at various spots. Thus the Lord's name and fire kept the demoness away. So on this day we see children making mischief.
