Dilsukhnagar : ウィキペディア英語版 | Dilsukhnagar
Dilsukhnagar is one of the largest commercial and residential centers in Hyderabad.〔(Dilsukhnagar: A congested commercial centre )〕 It was once part of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad, but later merged with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. == History == The name "Dilsukhnagar" is derived from Dilsukh Ram Pershad, an agricultural land owner who lived around Malakpet. It is said that he subdivided his land into plots and built a colony which he named Dilsukhnagar. Dilsukhnagar was once a purely residential suburb; however, in the last decade strong economic growth has transformed it into a major commercial hub. On 21 February 2013, at around 7:05 PM, two blasts occurred in the area: one in the vicinity of the Konark and Venkatadri movie theaters and the other near a busy bus stop. Sixteen people were killed and at least 118 were injured. Indian mujahideen were suspected and the blasts are thought to have been meant as revenge for the executions of Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab in Tihar Jail on 13 February 2013.〔http://www.ndtv.com/article/south/hyderabad-blasts-alleged-indian-mujahideen-operative-surveyed-area-of-blast-in-2012-says-report-334015〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.firstpost.com/india/live-five-explosions-kill-15-in-hyderabad-40-injured-634790.html )〕〔http://ibnlive.in.com/news/hyderabad-two-explosions-take-place-in-dilsukh-nagar-few-feared-dead/374336-62-127.html〕
