Diomin

''Diomin'' is a dark fantasy role-playing game, designed by R. Hyrum Savage and published by OtherWorld Creations (OWC). The only familiar race in ''Diomin'' are the humans, who are divided into two cultures: the good-leaning "Tirasim" and the evil-leaning "Zeredites". Recently, OWC has announced plans to release ''Diomin'' material for the new version of ''RuneQuest'', published by Mongoose Publishing.
==History==
R. Hyrum Savage and Dave Webb started the California RPG publisher OtherWorld Creations (OWC) as one of many RPG publishers that got into business thanks to the d20 boom. The company kicked off publication with Diomin (2000), a fantasy setting which had originally been designed for use with ''GURPS'', and the d20 licensing convinced Savage and his friends Chad Cunningham and Chris Miller to convert the setting to d20 and release it. OtherWorld supported ''Diomin'' with a handful of publications through 2003, but production came to a halt soon after with the crash of the d20 market. Savage resurrected OtherWorld in 2006 by taking advantage of another OGL-like licensing opportunity: ''Diomin'' returned for the Mongoose Publishing ''RuneQuest'' system, with new books that were largely PDFs but still represented new publication for a company that had previously disappeared.
