It is composed of seven villages: Bogata (''Bogáta''), Cucuieţi (''Kukujéc''), Dofteana, Hăghiac, Larga (''Lárga''), Seaca and Ştefan Vodă. The commune is situated around confluence between the Trotuş and Dofteana rivers, in a beautiful natural place.
