Dollungmukh
Dollungmukh is a land synonymous with a land of two river mouth. This name is aptly chosen as the region lies in the river mouth of two mighty rivers namely Dollung & Subansiri. People inhabiting here are known as Nyishi. They are Mongoloid in their looks. Dollungmukh is a picturesque town located in Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Some important centres of Dollungmukh are Kherbari, Paro, Midpu, Kolaptukar, Bomte and Rajali. Dollungmukh boasts to have the second largest dam in whole Asia with power generation capacity of 2000 MW. The area is considered to have great tourism potential for wilderness exploration, rafting, and fishing.
