Doody Doody, a variant of O'Dowd (Ó Dubhda), is a surname, of Irish heritage. It originated in the Kingdom of Uí Fiachrach Muaidhe as the name of the ruling dynasty. It may refer to: * Alison Doody, Irish actress and model * C. William Doody, Canadian politician * Margaret Doody, professor at the University of Notre Dame * Samuel Doody (1656–1706), botanist * Eminem. "Doody" was the nickname that his friend Proof gave him. Eminem also referred to Proof as "Doody" in his song "You're Never Over".
