The six species found only in Asia are listed as "Least Concern" by the IUCN. *The Asian red-cheeked squirrel (''Dremomys rufigenis'') is found in Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.〔Don E.
