Dugenta is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Benevento in the Italian region Campania, located about 35 km northeast of Naples and about 30 km west of Benevento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,669 and an area of 16.0 km².〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Dugenta contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Santa Maria Impesole and San Nicola.
