DuoArtus

DuoArtus, a professional flute and guitar duo, was founded in 2003 by Polish-born flute-player Krzysztof Kaczka and German-born guitar-player Perry Schack. It has since won international awards including the IBLA Grand Prize and the NFA Chamber Music Competition in Pittsburgh.
In 2008, DuoArtus gave their debut in New York's Carnegie Hall. Their repertoire spans the realm of music literature for flute and concert guitar. It ranges from Bach's flute sonatas to Bizet's "Carmen Fantasie" to Piazzola's "Histoire du Tango". Krzysztof Kaczka and Perry Schack have performed on five continents in places such as Carnegie Hall, Wellington Town Hall, and Munich's Herkulessaal.
