Dusky is an electronic music duo from London consisting of Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman. Formed in 2011, they have released on labels such Anjunadeep, Simple Records, Dogmatik Records, Aus Music and Naked Naked, before setting up their own label 17 Steps in July 2014 with the release of the Love Taking Over EP. Recognised for their high quality house and techno sound, Dusky’s music is influenced by everything from jazz to classical and to avant-garde electronica. Their focus on musical depth as opposed to genre restrictions and categorisation has seen their music played by DJs as diverse as Pete Tong, Maya Jane Coles, Boddika, Mark Knight and Laurent Garnier. Dusky’s diverse compositions are brought together by the duo’s mantra; to create music with soul, depth and originality. Dusky’s track 'Careless' reached No.1 on the Beatport Top 100 [] Chart, remaining at top spot for over 3 weeks. It also reached No.1 in the Beatport Top 100 Chart.
