''Elaenia'' is a genus of passerine birds in the tyrant flycatcher family which occur in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Except by voice, specific identification is often difficult since many species are very similar. ''Elaenia'' flycatchers are typically brownish, greyish or olive above, and off-white and/or pale yellow on the belly, with a white or pale yellowish eye-ring of variable strength and two or three wing bars. Some species show a crest; often with a semi-concealed white patch/streak. ==Species== * White-crested elaenia, ''Elaenia albiceps'' * Lesser elaenia, ''Elaenia chiriquensis'' * Plain-crested elaenia, ''Elaenia cristata'' * Great elaenia, ''Elaenia dayi'' * Greater Antillean elaenia, ''Elaenia fallax'' * Yellow-bellied elaenia, ''Elaenia flavogaster'' * Mountain elaenia, ''Elaenia frantzii'' * Mottle-backed elaenia, ''Elaenia gigas'' * Caribbean elaenia, ''Elaenia martinica'' * Olivaceous elaenia, ''Elaenia mesoleuca'' * Highland elaenia, ''Elaenia obscura'' * Sierran elaenia, ''Elaenia pallatangae'' * Small-billed elaenia, ''Elaenia parvirostris'' * Brownish elaenia, ''Elaenia pelzelni'' * Noronha elaenia, ''Elaenia ridleyana'' * Rufous-crowned elaenia, ''Elaenia ruficeps'' * Large elaenia, ''Elaenia spectabilis'' * Slaty elaenia, ''Elaenia strepera'' 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Elaenia」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
