Electrotherm is engaged in multi-divisional activities viz. manufacturing of industrial induction furnaces, induction heating equipment, DC Arc Furnaces, Transformers, metal refining converters, high grade pig iron, sponge iron, billets, structural, TMT bars, DI pipes, Alloy steel and battery driven vehicles. Electrotherm was established in 1983, and initially built industrial furnaces for the steel and metals industry. The company is best known for its YO Bykes range of electric vehicles launched in 2005. There are four divisions in Electrotherm: ==Engineering & Projects Division== Engineering & Projects is the oldest division of the Company. The division manufactures capital equipment for metallurgical industry & steel industry and transformers, etc. The Company has core competence in the power electronics, being a leading player in the country for manufacture and supply of Induction Furnaces. Induction Furnaces are essentially power electronic equipments used in steel units and foundries. The equipment can also be used for recycling of non-ferrous metal such as copper, aluminium, etc. In addition to Induction Furnaces, the division also manufactures Ladle Refining Furnaces, Induction Heating & Hardening Equipment, and Metal Refining Converters for stainless steel making and other customized equipment. The Company commands more than 50% share in manufacturing induction furnaces in India. It manufactures a wide variety of furnaces ranging from 2MT to 50MT. It has more than 27 service centres across the country to provide after sales service and timely maintenance to its customers. The company has also introduced High Speed Modular Caster (HSMC) for direct rolling of billets which has substantially brought down the cost of rolling through a huge saving in fuel consumption and burning losses in the billet reheating furnaces. The company has already successfully launched and commissioned its refining equipment ‘ERF’ with the patented technology ‘EldPHos’ for desulphurization and dephosphorusization and has received an extremely positive response from the industry. The company has also introduced state of the art pollution control systems for mini-steel plants. The product is gaining popularity and more and more existing steel plants are expected to upgrade and switch over to his new and technologically advanced pollution control system. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Electrotherm」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
