Elimiotis or Elimeia or Elimaea (; inhabitants: Elimiotes, ) was a region of Upper Macedonia that was located along the Haliacmon, north of Perrhaebia/Thessaly, west of Pieria, east of Parauaea, and south of Orestis.〔Dimitrios C. Samsaris, Historical Geography of the Roman province of Macedonia (The Departmement of Western Macedonia today) (in Greek), Thessaloniki 1989, p. 44-48〕 In earlier times, it was independent, but later was incorporated into the Argead kingdom of Macedon. Its capital was Aiane and Derdas family ruled the local Kingdom before incorporation into Macedon.
