EuroCases is a web-based multilingual legal information service providing access to case law of leading jurisdictions in Europe related to the application of EU law. EuroCases has been developed by the Bulgarian legal information provider PIS Hristovich Ltd. building upon the achievements of the EUCases project〔EuCases project's partnres http://eucases.eu/consortium/〕 supported by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme for research and innovation of the European Union. Currently, the service is being maintained and maintained and continuously updated by the affiliated company APIS Europe JSC.〔APIS Europe JSC History http://eurocases.eu/en/History〕 The service is cross-border, and is designed to provide access to national case law of other Member States whereby national courts apply both national and EU law as well as principles developed by the Court of Justice of the EU in order to decide a case pending before them. Most important cases are provided with editorial annotations, such as keywords, classification headings and summaries in the language of the case and in English. EuroCases database comprises over 150,000 national judgments of the Member States linked to EU law, including decisions from both supreme courts and lower instance courts, particularly of Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. It offers access to more than 20,000 rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The service also includes the full-text basic and consolidated versions of over 130,000 EU legislative instruments as well as the international agreements of the Union.
