Flight Standards District Office
A Flight Standards District Office, or FSDO for short (pronounced: fIz-dƏƱ), is a locally affiliated field office of the United States Federal Aviation Administration.〔http://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/〕 There are 78 such offices nationwide as of November 2015 physically located every state except four - Delaware, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
