Feering

Feering is a village and civil parish in the Braintree district of Essex, England. The parish is between between Colchester and Witham. The village, which lies at the south-west edge of the parish, is conjoined to the neighbouring village of Kelvedon.
==Amenities==
Feering village has three public houses, the Sun Inn, The Bell Inn, and The Blue Anchor which also functions as a hotel. The Blue Anchor was previously the The Old Anchor which, on 14 July 2008, suffered major damage caused by a fire which required eight fire crews to contain and lasted over 3 hours.〔(News story on EADT website )〕
Large businesses have offices or trade points in Feering. The nearest post office and convenience store to the village is in Kelvedon; the Old Post Office and shop which was situated on the village green ceased trading in the early 2000s.
The village has footpath links which run through surrounding fields and rural landscape. The Essex Way is not far from the Northern boundary of the parish.
