Fladbury
Fladbury is a traditional English village located in rural Worcestershire, England. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book, almost 1,000 years ago. It is sited on the banks of the River Avon, with many interesting and original buildings and features. Cropthorne village is on the opposite bank of the Avon. The two ancient communities are linked by the Jubilee Bridge. Fladbury Mill was owned by the Crabtree Family and has been restored by its current owners, David and Anne Wynn. It houses a mini hydro power system based on a water turbine and water wheel, as well as a well equipped workshop. A voluntary aided Church of England First School provides education to around 85 children aged 4 to 10. A September 2007 Ofsted inspection accorded the school a Grade 2 (good).〔(Ofsted report September 2007 ) Retrieved 30 July 2009〕 ==Fladbury Walkabout and Festival== Fladbury Walkabout and Festival, run over a weekend in mid-July (11/12 July in 2015), has villagers opening their gardens and includes a Flower Festival, boat trips, children's events, stalls, vintage cars, brass & jazz bands and a Fun Run on the Sunday.
