Flitwick, pronounced , is a small town and civil parish in Central Bedfordshire, England. It is mentioned〔See Bedfordshire Virtual Library's (Flitwick Timeline )〕 in the Domesday Book as "a hamlet on the River Flitt". It is broadly equidistant between Bedford and Luton . It shares many services with the neighbouring town of Ampthill, with which it shares a boundary.
