France-Amérique

''France-Amérique'' is a French language newspaper published in the United States, which is published by the media group France-Amérique LLC.
==History==
''France-Amérique'' was founded in 1943 by supporters of ''la France libre''. In the 1960s, it became the property of the French daily, ''Le Figaro'', as a weekly international edition. FrancePress acquired ''France-Amérique'' in 2007, and merged it with their newspaper, the ''Journal Français'', which is the largest French monthly newspaper published in the United States since 1978. France-Amérique was published in a bi-monthly format retaining the title of France-Amérique. In May 2008, ''France-Amérique'' became monthly and adopted a magazine format. Since June 2013, the newspaper is owned by the media company France-Amérique.
