Frithsden is a small hamlet in Hertfordshire, England. It is located in the Chiltern Hills, about two miles north of Berkhamsted, to which it belongs. The village name is derived from the wood ''le Fryth'' (me. frith »wood«).〔Allen Mawer, F.M.
