Fujianese Fujianese (or Fukienese) refers to someone or something related to or originating in Fujian, China. This may be: * The Hokkien dialect of Fujian Province and the country Taiwan, including Amoy dialect and Taiwanese. This is the customary use of the word in English when discussing language. * All of the Min Chinese dialects of Fujian, such as Min Nan (which includes Hokkien) and Min Dong (which includes Fuzhou dialect). * The Fujianese people, the Min-speaking Han subgroups, including the Hoklo, Teochew, Hainanese, Foochow, and Putian people.
