G-Slimm
Kenneth Jackson Jr. (February 17, 1975 – October 13, 1996), better known by his stage name G-Slimm, was an American rapper from New Orleans, LA who sign with Big Boy Records in 1993. He Released Fours Deuces & Trays in 1994 which sold 200,000 units in its first month.〔http://www.last.fm/music/G-Slimm〕 ==Career== In 1993, Leroy Edwards signed G-Slimm to Big Boy Records along with Mystikal and Black Menace. His debut album ''Fours Deuces & Trays'' was released May 27, 1994 and featured artist Insane, lil lipp, Mystikal and Black Menace. Leroy "Precise" Edwards produced the album, giving it a Southern\ West Coast feel. The album sold over 200,000 copies in one month, becoming one of New Orleans greatest rap album's of all time.〔http://www.amoeba.com/blog/2009/06/eric-s-blog/big-boy-records-.html〕 In 1995 Jackson started working on his second album titled G-Slimm right after he was offerd a deal by Relativity Records. Months later Jackson was gunned down. His seacond album title was changed to R.I.P G-Slimm and was released in 1997.
